I am a geochemist currently with SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd living and working in Wales. I trained as a geologist at Cardiff University before undertaking a Ph.D. studying the rates and mechanisms of iron removal in a novel passive mine water treatment system graduating in 2008. This sparked off my love of not only geochemistry but also mine-water, ARD, leachate chemistry and all things hydrogeochemically related. I am an active member of IMWA and have participated in a number of conferences and symposiums. My key interests at this point in time are:

Hydrogeochemistry of mine drainage
ARDML prediction
Geochemical modelling
Passive treatment

My hopes and aspirations for this forum are:

To encourage cross disciplinary discussion and knowledge sharing
To act as a social networking site for mine water enthusiasts of all disciplines
To inform and up date
To simplify communications
